When a client was considering options for replacing the roof over their large-scale storage shed their construction manager came up with an ingenious idea to save the company a lot of time, money and effort.
The idea was to use a large custom-built frame, with some form of covering, which could all be pulled apart, relocated and reinstalled many times as sections of the roof were removed and replaced.
They got in touch to see if Tarpaulin Makers could come up with a solution to work in with their clever plan.
We created a waterproof cover, for securing over the frame. Working at substantial heights meant the cover needed to be manufactured in many sections, both for safety and for ease of install. And, knowing the covers and fastenings would need to withstand harsh conditions throughout the project, we sourced oversized, custom-made zips for the job.
After we completed the initial install, the finished product was simple enough for our client’s team to relocate it themselves, saving considerable resource, time and money at each stage of the re-roof project.
